A medium size ski resort with many good powder runs.
About 30 minutes
by car from Asahikawa
Beside marked ungroomed slopes, access gates and tree-runs, there are many less know tree-runs between the marked runs and lifts. Local knowledge can help find hidden powder and avoid dead ends.
The gondolas allows fast access to the summit and entire resort.
Pippu
A smaller ski resort,
ideal to avoid crowds on busy days.

The summit and part of the resort is no longer serviced by lifts leaving it a powder field after a short climb.
